Libby experts from OverDrive will be holding Get Started with eBooks and Libby - The One Tap Reading Appon Tuesday, November 16th at 10 AM PST to help you access the library’s digital collections and eBooks through the Libby App. 
We encourage all current users of the OverDrive app to be ready for this migration to the Libby App by December 2022.
From February 2022 to December 2022, the OverDrive App will continue to be functional but OverDrive will be encouraging users to transfer their content over to Libby. The OverDrive App will be removed from all App Stores (Google, Microsoft and Apple) on February 1, 2022. The Libby App is OverDrive's most updated app for connecting seamlessly to your favorite eMaterials with advanced syncing, tags and searching capabilities. The OverDrive App will be removed in December 2022 and OverDrive will begin to provide support and updates only to the Libby App.
Access to more content with Libby Extras*: Get access to extra learning or entertainment resources (like Kanopy, Craftsy, Universal Class, and more) from your library.As 2022 approaches, changes are on the horizon for the OverDrive Reading Apps that connect you to eBooks, Audiobooks and eMagazines. More notification options: Get push notifications on your mobile device (or emails from ) for available holds, expiring loans, and more. Unlimited tags: Create custom tags to categorize books however you’d like, and use Libby’s smart tags to track what you've borrowed or get notified about new issues of your favorite magazines. Improvements to navigating book series: Easily find the next book in a series from search results, title details, and your Shelf. Libby makes it easier than ever to discover books in a series. A central Shelf: Loans and holds from all your libraries are automatically added to your Shelf. Libby offers many unique features and options that were not available in the OverDrive app. Libby continues to add new features and make updates based on reader and librarian feedback. 
To continue using your library's collection, you need to switch to Libby. The OverDrive app was discontinued on May 1, 2023.
